Difficulty : Medium

One Credit, No Continues.

Last day is Saturday February 9th (11:59:59pm Pacific Daylight Time), 2013.

General Rules:

- Highest score wins.

- No savestates, savestate practices, etc. during the round.

- MAME INP recordings are encouraged but optional.

- A screenshot is required to enter a score (press F12 to save screenshot showing your final score) or take a photo of the game screen.

- If you're a MARP competitor on this title, keep in mind this is just a friendly competition among forum members, so maybe you shouldn't enter. However, if you're a forum member and this is a game you're good at and nobody knows about it, this is your time to shine!

- Even if you don't have a competitive score or if you don't *think* that you have a competitive score, please post it anyway to keep the thread fun & to give everybody a good sense of score ranges.

- Please make sure your scores are from games that take place during the competition period (no posting your best score from last year, etc.).

- Use of autofire or other non-standard hacks within MAME or your PC's OS are not allowed. No program or other person or entity of any sort may manipulate your controls during your game. Coaching & back-seat driving is fine as long as the party doesn't directly influence the game or controls.

- If you can beat any of the high scores from the previous competitions, you can submit your score to the BYOAC High Game Scoreboard.

Ok, my first go at this in a long time. I got to the third critter, the koala, who whupped me. 114,550

Look how dejected my poor blue penguin is in the screen shot. He is SO disappointed in himself!

Nice pick, popsicle--I can't think of a more kid-friendly game that I can play with my son strapped to my chest!

That sure is respectable. I was gonna lament, that it's over before it even really began, but maybe not?

I kind of figuring out that there is a strategy, but I'm having troubles perfecting it. My strategy is to collect most balls in one spot, then throw one in one corner and as the opponenet approaches to pick up, I start to toss rest of the balls at him in order to knock him out, once he is out I try to throw all the balls on his side aiming as much as I can at him for extra points + perfect game

my score for now is only 129,000

I played 2 runs and got 125,150 on my 2nd one. I don't think I'm able to play another round of this game.

Unfortunately I'm giving up with this compo, there is no way I can catchup or even post a score anywhere near what's on score board, but I've got quick question to our current leader. Is he ready to post a new compo thread? I'm asking now since he only dropped by posted a score and basically disappeared. If we know ahead of time that we can count on him it will save time waiting to figure out who should pick next competition (2nd place winner?) in case he does not step up to the plate. Do we have your commitment?

Undicided on which way to go on a new compo though... I didn't want to assume this was over too early!

Here is my score of 274,250.

Sorry, I've been sitting on this one for a while. I scored this fairly easy but have only been able to score over 100k a couple times since.

I played a few more times tonight & couldn't top my previous best, even though I got farther than ever before. Made it to the beaver for the finals. The beaver pwned me!
