I've lurked at this site for a long time. In any case, I found the single sheet plywood plans manageable. This is kind of an easier project because what I could have pre-assembled I did. For example, the XBOX 360 Streetfighter Joysticks were bought a few years ago for about 20 dollars a piece. This lended itself well for the 2' platform for the controls. The cabinet is 2' x 6' x 2' with a few inches extra for the control platform. I used 3/4" Birch Plywood, and painted with just a gloss white after priming. T-molding was used for the front edges (although I might order another set and work on my angled cutting.) The TV is a 32" vizio seen on craigslist recently for roughly $100.00. Of course the part that made it the most manageable was my neighbor who was willing to offer his talent for preparing the plywood frame.
