Did a lot of game installation this week/weekend.  Sonic and the Sega All-Stars Racing Transformed is awesome.  If you have a driving cab and you don't have this then shame on you.  It's like Mario Kart on speed.  Plus racing as Wreck-it-Ralph in what looks to be Mater the Tow-Truck with a spiked wrecking ball on the back is way too much cross-over to not be tried.  Also, it is a giant whorey beyotch to get running with the KADE+, or any no xbox controller for that matter.  X360CE needs some special tweaking for that one.

I never did get it figured out for the G27.  The clutch pedal was showing up as some hard coded axis and screwed stuff up.
I gave up since you need a yoke for some parts anyway.

Ever since getting Starfighter into it's super clean black and white state it's been hard for me find a design I like.  Here's the yoke overlay I've been toying with.

I think keeping the color to a minimum and just going with a very high contrast design might be the way to go - thoughts?

lose the red or the blue, or have more of one than the other.

I disagree. I think to stay to the logo, you need an equal amount of both.

Do you have a sketch up model you could layer that on?  I mean, I can't even make a cube in sketchup.  But your close.

What does the rest of the art look like?

I like the middle one best - mostly because the top star looks crisper in white to me.

Rest of the art?  One step at a time man :lol  And nah, me and sketchup don't really get along, for stuff like this it just is an unnecessary extra step.  The Yoke Overlay will determine the rest of the art.  I'll start at the focal point and build out around it.

I appreciate all the feedback everybody!  Thanks!!

I like the 3rd one in this post (#81.)  You have to remember that once this is on the yoke, it will not look that busy.

I got it applied a bit back and then ripped it right off.  The center was just a bit oversized and the outline wrapped around the bend to the top and bottom.  Didn't like it in color either.  Minor changes, will get the new one up.  More black, less white, no color.  In space no one can hue.

I got to play a dedicated Stun Runner last week in Chicago and thought of Le Chuck's project.  Any updates?

Still woefully plain and unadorned and totally playable ;)

I have some ideas for the art but haven't found the time to get to it this past several months.

Been there done that.   ;D

We were at the Galloping Ghost arcade and were able to play Star Wars, Jedi and Stun Runner.  I kept thinking how cool your project was since you will be able to play all three.
