I saw them.  Very slick and well rehearsed.  Thankfully there is a ton of high quality footage of them.  Very few Texas musicians from that era still going, I’m glad I got to see Roky Erickson and Billy Joe Shaver.  I’m not sure Willie’s done a concert since I saw him at the rodeo.

I saw ZZ Top 18 or 19 times over the years. Definitely a tight group, impressed he could get such a killer tone with those light guitar strings and a peso!
