Recommended sites or publications for audio/video enthusiasts

I haven't seen many good magazines on newstands lately and some of my favorite issues (Audio/Video Interiors) are no longer in print.  I'm trying to look for some good alternatives to cover this.

I visited this site countless times while building my hometheatre http://www.avsforum.com

What I really like is their "Official" threads that are dedicated to a piece of AV equipment. Check it out if you haven't already.

Reviews on Amazon and AVS forum.  Seriously.  The magazines died out because they pandered to advertisers and/or ---That which is odiferous and causeth plants to grow---.

I listen to the Home Theater Geeks podcast occasionally, but not religiously.

On the music side, the low quality of the source nowadays makes it no longer worthwhile to have a super high end audio system for music.
I stream from Rhapsody and Pandora.  I've purchased a couple CDs in the past few years expecting them to sound better than the mp3 files; they did not because of the way they were mixed.  If you have an old collection you enjoy, I suppose it's  still worthwhile.

Yup, AVSforum.  I have been out of the professional scene for 16 years now so I am so out of touch I have no idea what equipment to get when I am looking to upgrade.  Found a ton of good help there.  Amazon reviews can be helpful but watch out because like many technical products, people will give negative reviews even when their own lack of understanding is all that is at fault.
