Happy New Year everybody!

So once again, we find that evil of the past seeps into the present like salad dressing through cheap wax paper, mixing memory and desire.

To a happy and healthy 2015 for all!

Not sure why I'm up already...maybe my body is telling me 'need more Advil.'

So, we had about 10 families at the house - 25 kids, starting at 7pm.  My virtual pinball had been out of commision with issues for about a month; the 3 screens were all switched and swapped and tough to navigate.  I actually thought that my 3rd monitor bought the bullet.  Anyway...yesterday at 5:30, after all the important stuff was taken care of, I went to work on it.  Ended up getting it up and running with less than an hour to spare.

The party went well, the music was loud and thumping, the lights are flashing and spinning and everyone went crazy but they were all on their best behavior...I think.

Come to think if it, maybe my body is telling me 'check for damage'.

I had a pretty slack night. We (wife and I, and a friend from the mainland) played Fibbage, Drawful, and You Don't Know Jack. We watched The Hunt For Red October and Twister. We made fun of Twister all the way through.

Red October is one of my favorites sounds like a good time.

The last few years our tradition has been to watch and make fun of the train-wreck that is New Years Rockin' Eve on ABC. Jenny McCarthy kept talking about how her silicon implants were going to freeze.  Nice family fare.

Had a party.  They keep growing, which is kinda cool.  Got the second DDR pad wired.

"Everyone has to dance once."

Cannot feel my legs today.

Some random guy looked at my turtle box and said, "I'm not sure what I'm looking at but this is one of the coolest things I've seen in my life."

Kicked last group out at 6am.

A good $400 in booze leftover if Houston people want to come visit.   :P

"We got debris!"

Happy New Year to everyone.  My girlfriend's bday is the 1st of Jan, so midnight was double special for us.  She wanted to go out and insisted on going downtown, which was OK but I wasn't about to stand outside in the -30 degree windchill with all the drunk idiots, so we went early, had dinner, and then just stayed at the table until later when they turned the brew pub into a dance party.  It all went well and we all made it home safe.  I was the DD, which was good because any more than a few beers and I would have been asleep.
