Yo. Chocolate.

People often confuse expressed observations with complaint, ridicule, or - even worse - self-pity.

More like: This is a very expensive vertical bar top

No games? Have to include your own board? (Those things can be pretty high themselves.)

Come on   :dunno

Need to contact this guy so he can have more. I have some I could sell him for $600.00 a piece and he make over $500.00 profit. I got 5 to sell him.

While I am on a selling it for cheap subject, They cam to assest my house and the person assest it at $500,000. I tild him that we can make a deal, I told him to buy my for only $375,000 so he can turn around and sell it over the appraised price, he just gave me a big SMILE and turned down the proposal. I gave him a big discount already. Does he want it for FREE ?

enough of my rant, just Shut-up Nasty :)

When you realize that you paid that much for a *cough* bartop, you can proceed to try and get your money's worth by motorboating.

I know that folks like us like to mock ads like this ... on eBay, on Craigslist, on Kijiji, wherever.

The truth is that at least some of the folks selling these are members in places like this (and often sell under pseudonyms) and they are selling them specifically to fund their activities in the hobby. I've seen local guys pull in a couple of thousand dollars a month selling crap like this or trade one of these cabs straight-up for a nice pin.

Mock if you will, pick apart the legalities and moralities if you want, but with the same knowledge that we have and a marginal amount of effort, they're doing just fine.

Now who is the smart one ?

That would require that I actually do something ...  ;)

But I do have some monitors and 48-in-1s waiting in the wings should I decide to get off of my own lawn ...

EDIT: The anecdotal stories, however, are true -- one of the locals traded a 48-in-1 for a HUO Gorgar ... I was blown away, but saw the pin with my own eyes.  :dizzy:
