will metal slug 5 run in mame

Hi guys. When i try to run metal slug 5 in mame 32 v. 111 it starts to load and then quits and returns to the games list. Has anyone got it running?

I don't know about v.111, but "mslug5" runs in v.125

Probably not, I've had the Metal slug 5 romset for the longest time and it wasn't until a recent version of MAMe that I was able to play it.

I should have been more specific, newer MAME with the right romset. the OP just asks if it runs at all :)

It runs on my MAME setup and I have version .119.

I run the latest metal slug X on my xbox, I think that is mame .60. This rom has been playable for a very long time.
