A big truck? How about a dump truck?

Its mostly redemption stuff. It'll make an operator happy but I don't think there's much there for a collector or enthusiast.
If you build a frankenpanel, chances are I don't care for you as a person.

The question is, would you ever make you r money back if you paid $12,000 for it ? I doubt it. I have seen lots of places closed down. Now if you win it at $500.00, then the quetion would be, Where are gonna put this ? If you get a warehouse, how much is for the rent ? Damm looking at it, iether you get it a low proice, renting a spot for it would break you. Now unless you have your own garage/warehouse then the question would be, How long can you get rid of it and make some money if you sell it one by one ? hehe :) I wish I have a warehouse. Money, Truck, Time and a understading wife. :)

Odd.  I think that was Ft. Lauderdale's only "retail" arcade store.  I was in there about 2 months back trying to find parts/a cabinet for my mame project, but they wouldn't give me any sort of reasonable deal on anything.

They wanted $75 for the most hideous non-standard arcade cabinet you could imagine (Cabinet only, looked like a cross between a cheap wood grain bookshelf and a refrigerator) and when I tried to talk them out of coin doors/coin mechs they didn't really want to get rid of any, but might sell me a coin door "for around $100"... ack...

Most of the machines *I* saw in their showroom had pretty crazy prices, and only about 10-25% were in what I'd consider good condition.  At least half were VERY poorly redone, mismatched graphics and/or serious cosmetic flaws, montior burn-in, etc.  They DID have a nice collection of pinball machines, but again - high prices.

Most of the stuff I saw in there, I *wouldn't* put into my house.  I more or less asked the woman how it was that they survived, and she said something about them dealing in a lot of slot machines and things like that...

??? If they were so close to the edge of going under (assuming this is a real auction and not them just unloading unwanted junk) you'd think they would have been more interested in dealing with me.  As it was, they were friendly, but didn't make any great efforts to sell me anything.
