Odd. I think that was Ft. Lauderdale's only "retail" arcade store. I was in there about 2 months back trying to find parts/a cabinet for my mame project, but they wouldn't give me any sort of reasonable deal on anything.
They wanted $75 for the most hideous non-standard arcade cabinet you could imagine (Cabinet only, looked like a cross between a cheap wood grain bookshelf and a refrigerator) and when I tried to talk them out of coin doors/coin mechs they didn't really want to get rid of any, but might sell me a coin door "for around $100"... ack...
Most of the machines *I* saw in their showroom had pretty crazy prices, and only about 10-25% were in what I'd consider good condition. At least half were VERY poorly redone, mismatched graphics and/or serious cosmetic flaws, montior burn-in, etc. They DID have a nice collection of pinball machines, but again - high prices.
Most of the stuff I saw in there, I *wouldn't* put into my house. I more or less asked the woman how it was that they survived, and she said something about them dealing in a lot of slot machines and things like that...

If they were so close to the edge of going under (assuming this is a real auction and not them just unloading unwanted junk) you'd think they would have been more interested in dealing with me. As it was, they were friendly, but didn't make any great efforts to sell me anything.
