How to coin wire a 60 in 1 Board in a Ms Pacman cabinet

Hi everyone,

can someone tell me  ( if possible send me a picture ) of where and how exactly do I connect the " coin " wires from a 60 in 1 icade board to a Ms Pacman Cabinet? I want to set it up so is coin operated. is this possible? here is a picture of the coin door of my Ms pac Man cabinet.

To the coin switches that are right there under the coin mechs.

Not positive but seems like the blue and green wires - so trace them back to the plug and see which connections they use -- looks like the green is ground and blue is coin connection ( from the pic looks like both coin mechs are interconnected so on the Jamma harness you'd only use coin1 connection and ground.

so I wired the coin wires from thr 60 in 1 jamma, to the middle leg on the coin door switches ( between the green and the blue wires ), I then turned off free play on the 60 in 1 jamma settings, and tried a coin in the coin mech but it did not work, could it be  that the coin mech is broken or the wiri g is bad?

you need to wire the green to gnd and the blue to coin, not  the middle leg as you described.

you ca test the switch with a multimeter in continuity mode.

THe middle leg appears to be a NC (Normally Closed) connector like on regular microswitches -- SO is just left with no wire as it currently is.

THe green and blue are the NO(normally Open) and Ground -- SO you want to run one of them to the COIN on the jamma connector and one of them to a ground on the jamma connector. ( doesn't really matter which goes to which as the switch merely completes the connection when the coin drops and moves the switch to closed rather than open so either wire could be run to either connection as long as one goes to ground and the other goes to the coin connection. - So if you prefer doing green to green and blue to ground that will work also.

So what happens is when the coin drops it activates the switch which makes a connection between the Green and Blue wire which sends a pulse to the board letting it know that a coin has been put in.
