There are Countless racing games going way back into the 70s... and pretty much all of them with exception to the late 90s... allow your car to crash / explode.
Pole Position, Super Hangon, Spy Hunter, Out Run, Super Sprint, Continental Circus, Enduro Race, Hard Drivin, Rally Bike
... heck, you can even wipe out in Excite Bike.
In fact... when Arcades started to make games "Baby Easy" (easy difficulty, as well "pay to continue") ... they started to die off.
The reason is simple. When you reduce challenge... there is less desire to master and even play it. There is less reward, and less adrenalized feelings associated with playing it.. thus, its basically becomes a sort of boring interactive movie. (without actors, nor a good storyline)
(and if you can buy your way to the end of a game... its rare that its ever worth playing again)
I also had a Commodore computer. The C-64, and the Amiga 500. Games on PCs were often notoriously difficult... and also had no problem killing your Car off if you crashed.
What you have here is basically a 10 min time killer for your phone. Its not really a game that is going to be remembered.. or even played, past a few months span.
