CraftyMech's TPG. This probably isn't too popular around here since most members don't use arcade monitors, but CraftyMech does some amazing work for the hobby.

My TPG is still in the mail and I'm anxious to play with it.

Are we violating election laws by posting in the voting threads?   :o

Agreed!  Craftymech gets my vote!  Don't have one yet, but I can see how useful it can be.  I plan to buy one in the future!

While I think craftymech's TPG is an awesome little piece of engineering, I had to go with the outrun circuit. I only wish John was selling them instead of just giving us the plans (hey crafty or andy, you wanna make and sell them? I'd buy one!). I think that for our particular niche of the already niche market, johns is more useful to us. If this was KLOV's UCA's Id vote for the TPG

As for the howler, heard real bad things about quality of hardware, and more over , I really didnt like wolf's accusations towards Andy/Ultimarc. That and the guy hasn't even been on the forums in like 6 months.

As for the Ultimarc I/O , while think its superior to the howler, I dont run or ever plan to run LEDs on my cab. Love all the other ultimarc stuff though, and Andy is just an awesome guy, in stark contrast to engg , Andy logged in yesterday!

I'll see if the person who got one, and had it quit working for them wants to come forward. I'm not one for tattle tailing.

Without info to back the claim that the hardware quality is bad, it's null in my opinion. :blah:

Interesting. Boards are claimed to be tested before shipped according to his news blog. Did you contact the creator?

No, he was rude to me and other mods when he had his meltdown here, so I just really don't want to deal with him anymore

Yeah, I reached out to him a couple times as well, seeing how there doesn't seem to be many other people in this hobby from Calgary I was excited. But then just got the cold shoulder.  Meh, whatever.  ::)

I had a hard time deciding betwen Crafty's and the Ultimate I/O. I feel like my builds are leaving one world and heading to the next so it leaves my decision a bit torn. I have gear from both these guys, so that doesn't help either.
