U360 restrictor kit and standard dust guard.
« on: October 01, 2014, 08:52:46 pm »
Unless I'm missing something glaringly obvious, I assume these two cannot be used together? I suppose the dust guard could just float on top of the restrictor halves. But that would have to be above surface. And that would just be wrong...

I guess my ultimate question is how would one using the restrictor kit bezel the hole in the control panel. Seems like you'd have an exposed (somewhat) edge.

Yes you use them together.   The restrictor plate goes under the cp in the u360 and the dust cover floats on top of the cp.

Yeah I just checked it again. It's all flush with 3/4" wood panel. I was going to rout it to have a higher joystick but that would make the rp too high. Oh well I think I'm digging the joystick height now anyway!  ;D

I want to retract my first answer.   I now see Ultramarc makes a top mounted restrictor plate u360.   I have the original.

the top mount restrictor itself sits above a 3/4" CP, so if you use the dust guard it will "float" a little, about 2-3mm above the CP.  I just left them off so I have easy access to the restrictors.
