Two questions:
First, when my computer goes to sleep, it disables the iPac.. So I can't wake it with any control on there, and even when I set windows to not selectively disable USB ports while in sleep mode, it shuts down. Anyone find a way to get around this? I really hate having to open the keyboard drawer to push a button to get the computer to come out of sleep mode.. But then I don't want the LED's all lit up 100% of the time either, I actually want it to go to sleep after 30 or 60 minutes of non-use.
Furthermore, when it wakes up, I have had less than consistent results with the ipac. Half the time some part of it will no longer function until I reboot. I have even had where the mouse controls (ie trackball and spinner) work, but the mouse clicks and other buttons don't.
Second question: If I have an animation running for the LED's, all functions of the iPac seem to get either super slow or just stop working altogether. While the animation is going it is hit or miss if the right buttons will light up when I select a game, and while the animation is going the trackball and spinner are SUPER slow, and if I launch a game while the animation is going, it sometimes takes 30 or 45 seconds for the game to start. This is all with the MaLa front end. If I turn off the animation everything is snappy and fast.. Anyone else running into this?
