PC won't boot with Ipac2 connected
« on: January 05, 2014, 06:45:21 pm »
My PC will not boot unless I unplug the IPac 2.  It works fine with just my Logitech G15 attached so I don't believe it's a USB issue.

It seems to me like the ipac might be pressing some buttons on boot even tho none of my buttons or joysticks are being touched during boot because it usually ends up on the boot Windows normally, safe mode, etc. screen

When I make it into Windows it works perfectly fine.  Has anyone else had this issue and found a solution?  Or am I destined to always be connecting and disconnecting the ipac for each boot?

Have you contacted Andy @ Ultimarc?

check the cable you're using if any pins are bent (both ends).

Also check that your buttons and joystick connections aren't shorting somewhere!

I ended up seeing some advice on Reddit about changing USB hubs, I didn't have mine plugged into a hub but I did change which USB port it was plugged into, and for some reason that solved the issue!
