Totally had a blast...

Damn ass hot outside, so spent the better part of the day hanging out in the basement playing pinball and on the MAME cabinet.  Then went for a dip in the pool to cool off before firing up the BBQ for dinner and a beer.

I went to Castle Fun Park! Over 200 arcade games. 4 player, 4 puck simultaneous air hockey. Batting cages, driving range, 3 mini golf courses, bumper cars, go karts... spent 5 hours there, drew a crowd around xmen vs street fighter, and managed to convince my wife that we NEED the aimtrak guns on the arcade at home.

Honestly, the model in question spent about $200 in tattoos to lower her sex appeal. Either she is or she isn't a sexy Canadian girl, the tramp stamp is going to take points off either way.
Acceptance of Zen philosophy is marred slightly by the nagging thought that if all things are interconnected, then all things must be in some way involved with Pauly Shore.

She's a hottie! I don't mind a tramp stamp, you aren't the target audience anyway.

!!!

Yes, the games are in good condition. I only had one issue the whole day, and that was one wheel on a super spring didn't work. They had pac-man, battle royale! A wicked shooter called Ghost or something, the guns are really nice and heavy. I drew a crowd at marvel vs capcom... I didn't think that happened any more. Unfortunately people only watched me beat the game, I had no challengers. It was way too hot to be outside so I only did one round of the batting cages. I took a few thousand pics, here's a few. Some highlights:

Connect 4 - ticket redemtion game. My friend is 6'2, if that give you any indication of how massive this is.

Operation Ghost

For my wife, it was Pinball

My favourite competitive game was pac man, they had the biiig version

And for just all out crazy fun, 4 player sega air hockey. You get 5 lives and lose one when you get scored upon. When you die your goal closes up. There are 4 people and 4 pucks at once. It's like hungry hungry hippos but for air hockey.

sorry for the crappy cell phone pics. I didn't feel like being that creep with a dslr surrounded by other people's children.
