Had an itch to make a mini cocktail after going over
JKDubb's UCA Winning build and saw these. Made me a bit "gitty" inside and had to attempt a working mini cocktail.

I am going for a more traditional look for the cocktail, a bit like the
full size cocktail build I just finished (but itsy bitsy).
HardwareI wanted to keep the cost down so I ordered a used "Samsung SCH-R880" instead of what I have seen most minis made out of (Dingoo, GBA, etc). They may be easier to configure but I knew I could bend android to my will

. I was originally going to hack a bluetooth keyboard up to whatever cell phone I purchased but then realized that I could get a cell phone with a slide out keyboard and hack that.

Joysticks will be
these (haven't came in yet). Part number GH7455-ND on digi-key.

For the buttons I went with
these. They are the perfect size and there is a similar model that is lit up with LEDs that I could not find. I am going to open them and hack in an SMD LED. There is space just for them in it (perfect!).

Pac-Man (With cocktail flipping!)
Software\AppsFirstly I rooted the device, this is useful for a ton of reasons regardless of using it for an arcade.
I was going to write a custom rom image for it (and still might) but wanted to see if I can do it with just rooting it and messing with apps as the first would be phone specific.
Here is a list of apps needed to basically shell the front end- No Lock - This eliminates a lock screen from start up. So no need to touch screen
- Auto Start - This will start any app you wish on startup, will use this to start MAME4Droid
- Holo Launcher - Use this to disable the pull down bar at the top of the phone and other settings like auto-rotate
- Root Browser - This is needed to browse through the phones system folders and make changes that are not accessible through normal file browsers
- MAME4Droid - The MAME+Frontend I will be using
- Root APP Delete - Use this to uninstall applications that came with your phone that wont be needed; like navigation, camera, maps, etc. This will speed up the system.
Will post another update\more information soon after I finish some regular work.
