With the long shaft and the heavy spring it is still pretty loose IMHO, so you can take the original spring, wind it around the heavy spring, and use that for a stiffer feel.  If I ever get around to reworking my CP, I intend to do just that.  I have a few sets of the original springs, I figure I will try 2 of the original ones first, and if it still isn't stiff enough, go with a heavy and an original.
