Christmas wish list
« on: November 16, 2008, 10:37:03 am »
Ok, I'm taking it that all of you have been good boys and girls, so let's see what's on your Christmas wish list.

I will start:

Another router, so switching between freehand, router table, and circle cutter will cut down on project time a lot.

I always bug santa for DVDs and Video Games but I think this year I'm hoping either for a new computer monitor (I'm still using a clunky CRT) or an Xbox 360.

I'd like an Xbox 360.  That won't happen, though.  Beyond that I could use some more clothes.

I'm still using a CRT at home.  21", I dig it.

Nobody in my family ever has any idea what I'm into or am doing so they have no idea what to buy me.  I'm sure a lot of us can relate to that - they have no interest in arcade games, tools, or anything most of us here do.  Last year I got tickets for an MMA event that was supposed to also be an overnight in the casino hotel that I missed because my kids were sick that night and the babysitter noshowed.   :banghead:

So this year all I mentioned was a multitool and a hunting knife.  I don't expect them, though.  I expect the usual assortment of size M shirts and regifted gift cards to places 100 miles away.

BTW, does anyone here wear size M shirts?  I couldn't wear them when I was 10% bodyfat and I'm only 5-10.

My family gets me the wierdest gifts.  I've started asking for gift cards and I know they'll screw that up.  All I want is a 500 gig drive to use for backups, I've got about 150 gigs of music and music vids for my juke that I would to keep a copy in a safe location.  I know if I say just get me a best buy gc, 2 will do that, 1 will regift me one from Service Merchandise and another will get me one from Rat Shack.

I want a wireless adaptor for the Xbox 360 (why is that stupid thing so expensive  :badmood:).

A couple Blu-Ray movies... not much really.

Gold ones?

Old American music reference. You probably wouldn't get it.

Well, the two gold front teeth is a more recent American music reference. Guess you didn't get that one

Getting tired of not being able to whistle?
