Mame Goes White
« on: September 28, 2008, 07:34:52 am »
When i get into mame through Mala and try to run  a game it goes white. i can get out of it but all games do this. sometimes if i mess around with the settings and turn it on and off it works. but next time i turn it on it goes white again.

Does this happen to any one else and if so how do you fix it?

Thanks Guys!

you need to find out if MALA is giving you the problem. Try running MAME by itself that should determine if its MALA or MAME.

I had a similar problem from using an ArcadeVGA, defining specific resolutions for each game, and then using the wrong type of monitor.   I normally use a D9200 but at one point while I was still setting things up I had plugged in a normal computer monitor again and ran a few games without thinking.  The resolutions were out of range for the computer monitor and it resulted in a white screen.  Not sure if that helps at all but figured there was a slight chance you might have done the same.
