I had a similar problem from using an ArcadeVGA, defining specific resolutions for each game, and then using the wrong type of monitor. I normally use a D9200 but at one point while I was still setting things up I had plugged in a normal computer monitor again and ran a few games without thinking. The resolutions were out of range for the computer monitor and it resulted in a white screen. Not sure if that helps at all but figured there was a slight chance you might have done the same.
