Man sitting in the tv room at grandma's playing Super Mario Brothers in the floor on that old wood grain 27 inch floor model from Montgomery Wards.  Having to get up every few minutes when I pulled the controller cord down in front of the screen.  My guess is people under 20 didn't understand 90% of the sentence.

We had this TV clear into the mid-90s!

Please tell me you didn't trash it.  That is some sweet faux woodgrain right there.

Hell, given the era that could have been real wood... back when skilled labor was cheap and technology was expensive.  Now it's the opposite.

  • Yeah, owning a MAME cab only leads to owning real ones. MAME just isn't good enough. It's a gateway drug.

It was real wood. I don't know what happened to it, it was my mom's.

I'm sure it's real wood. Love the stand.
