I am doing a major upgrade to my home theater lately and I decided for acoustical treatments I will do several movie posters printed on acoustically transparent cloth with high density acoustical damping material behind them.  I could do upwards of 9, but I think 7 would fit the room nicely (I will use regular cloth on the 8 other panels so it isn't so overwhelming).

So if you were going to do 7 movie posters in a theater room, which would you choose?

I'm thinking:
At least one Star Wars, probably the original.
An Avengers poster
Highlander if I can find a good one.
Apollo 13
Nemo maybe, or perhaps UP - a couple of my girlfriends favorites
Jurassic Park or World
Superman or Batman

This is just off the top of my head, I am hoping for some inspiration.  Bonus points for actual images, lol.

I was trying to think of Movie's that I still have an affinity for that might be on the cusp, just kitschy enough to make for decor for discussion.

Those were the first two to come to mind (well besides the Fifth Element and well, surprisingly that poster isn't very interesting)

Oooh, my son loves back to the future.. that might have to go up the list, and ghostbusters would be awesome too.. hmmm.. Animal House is cool but the white background would stand out in a dark theater room, lol.

It's from allposters.com
I bought the silkscreen version.  It smelled fresh when it arrived.  Then I hacked the top off to fit it in the frame because I was sick of building custom frames at the time.  There weren't any words up there, just a continuation of the reflection lines.

EDIT:  never pay full price for anything from allposters.  There are always discount codes.

You ever see those promo posters or teasers that rarely crop up before they're replaced by the official?  They just have something really special about them.

I'm beginning to think posters are outdated tech.  After walking down my local Walmart after xmas and seeing all those 42+ inch tvs for under 200 bucks I'm thinking, like someone else already suggested, maybe hanging a tv on it's side would be more fun.  Shoot they are getting so cheap that you could do that for side art on a cab as well.

That'd be a project..... trying to inset a lcd on the sides of a cab without ruining the structure.
