Love praying mantises...  mantisi?  Either way, they're cool.  My kids and I kept one as a pet for about a year.  Fed it crickets.  They've got really pretty wings if you can ever see em, ours were rainbow colored.

That's a big-ass moth!  Buddy of mine used to work at a gas station out in the woods near Prescott, AZ.  The moths around there were big enough to trip the motion sensors on his automatic doors.  Place seemed haunted cause the doors would open "randomly".  >:D

Grilled everything is good so far.  :lol

Fire is the magic ingredient all those idiots on those stupid cooking shows forget. EVERYTHING IS BETTER WITH FIRE food-wise, and even some things that aren't edible.

Can you tell me the distances apart from the center of those circles?  It might help with my floor. Thanks.

The circles represent the base of the Dremel attachment that Louis Tully talked about here.

Not sure about the exact size since I don't have that attachment.   :dunno

You might be able to use sketchup or another graphics program to tile the stone pattern on the desired floorplan and tile the bricks on the walls using the same size squares.

Then you can resize the stone+brick squares to see how well the different sizes work.

That looks to be a hawk moth and stick bug.

Hawk moth i think comes from the big ass horn worm, 3 of these mutilated a tomato plant i had, they were about 1/2" in diameter and about 3-4" long and strong, they has little clasps for feet and wouldnt let go of the branch.

One of these flew into my neighbors car, it was so big she thought it was a bat.

Luna

We just got done with Luna Moth mating season a few weeks ago down here.  They're all dead now and we won't see any until next spring.  This year we didn't have much of a display but last year they covered the house - we were totally the Luna Moth brothel, it was awesome.  When they arrive Bri and I will stand out in the yard and watch them dance for hours it seems.  Great show.

I've been doing a crapload of detail routing myself, I know what a hassle it is. You really muscled through it man. That looks great. Can't wait to see the paint treatment.

I have to admit... I did a bit of eye rolling as you mulled your decision for artwork/layout - but now that you've gotten this far - I don't blame you one bit.  This isn't a matter of peeling off some art - this is a LOT of blood, sweat and tears.  Good job.

Back in the gameboy days i was addicted to Tetris (263 lines before i realised it was becoming an addiction) and then i remember having dreams about dropping shapes.

After all that routing i can only guess the crazy Mario brick trips you've experienced!

Seriously amazing work. Love it when you see an off the wall idea come alive and this looks ridiculously good.  :applaud:

I'm always on the lookout for a Luna Moth. I've only ever seen one and it was a long time ago. It was in flight the whole time and I couldn't catch it. But they look badass.

Luna

We get these at our house quite a bit.It must be a climate thing is why you don't see them.

4 player, 6 button each.  Extra wide cp, narrow cabinet.

Spots around joysticks!  Glows in blacklight!

:o :o :o :o AWESOME! Man, I'm so jealous. We need to move.

What state are you in?  Lunas are found in every state east of the Mississippi and a few west.  If you're north of the mason dixon they only brood once a year, in the south they'll be out twice or sometimes three times.  If you're in a hot spot just take a high powered flashlight out after midnight and shine the trees.  Here's a map of recent sightings by county (about halfway down the page).  Yes, I'm kind of a bug nut ;)

In some of the pics you can read the print on the pipes --- It shows they are 3" and he bought the cheaper ones as they are marked not for Pressure so are less expensive than those designed to hold high water pressure. (since there is no need for the more expensive stuff in this application ! )
