They've had one of these at Dreamworld, Gold Coast Australia, for at least 10 years. Good fun.

That thing is a regular attraction at Oktoberfest every year.  It's pretty much a vomit-comet.

I'm sitting here watching this video and thinking, "Jesus, you guys sure are a bunch of Okies if you think this is a vomit comet. I've been on it so often I ........holy crap!"

Woah.... That is one Hell of an engineering marvel. Is there any place in California that has this one?  I've gotta give this one a whirl.

I guess you didn't actually watch the video through.  I thought it was gonna be the same old but then the arms started rotating independently.

Hopefully one of the theme parks in the UK get one.

Ditto...roller coasters have a fun, fluid motion to them.  I don't get the whole wanting to be suspended upside-down orat wierd angles thing.

It's impressive as hell though, engineering-wise.

Yup.

I'd be impressed if it spun a lot faster. That would be a technical marvel.

Laura Crofts Tomb Raiders at Kings Island in Cincinnati, OH is very similar to this, except indoors.
I havent been to Kings Island in several years now, but it was there last time I was. (Maybe 6 years ago?)
Pretty wild ride.

I didn't watch it all... The one I've been on the arms do rotate independently but only one arm has the hinge so it is a bit tamer than this one.
