I have been lurking around here for a while now, an finally i got my project under way.... heres how it went down...
Started to cut 2 pieces of MDF..:

Found the drawing and begun to draw the side of the cab..

For the curved corners i used a ...Passer, the Danish for it, donīt know the english word...

Cut of the top with a circular saw

And woila! one side finished...

Placed the finished side at the bottom and took the last piece of MDF and placed it on top, and used a router for the cut:

From the bottom

Yes, two finished sides.

Routed the trench for the T-Mold

Made some lists for the cab assembly

Assembling, under the lists i used glue for better support, and nailed the whole shabang together from the inside

Finished routing the speaker holes..

Final assembling

Mounting Bezel supporting lists

And, finally, finished

And with Marquee and Bezel

Modded a TV for monitor use..
First was to disassemble the TV. 20"

Marked up on a piece of 22mm plywood (for strength!)

Frame assembled

TV installed

Waiting to go in the cab!

Must admit, it very easy to work on a cab when you have a table like this:

Whooops! - to fast with the listīs that holdīs the back door, so had to cut some of it away...

TV markup...

from the other side..

And yes! - Fits like a glove!

almost finished painting..

and FINALLY, finished soldering the edge connector, and hooked it up to the PCB.
Also, thereīs some noice on the picture, but i havenīt connected the Video GND yet...

Is there a way to ajust the picture on the screen??

Edge connector...

Again, picture of the picture off center.... :'( :'( :'(

Luckily it was fairly easy for the picture adjustments..
TV Chassis number, which i googled and found the service manual.

the picture on the monitor after the adjustments

So, now the only thing stopping the project to get finished is the damn CP!!! :'( :'( :'( :'(
