yeah I hear what you guys are saying, initailly I thought about bevelling that edge to follow the angle of the control panel, I also like the idea of embedding some of those LEDs for the glow. At this point though it's 95% good enough and I really need to get this finished, last night I was stressing over some dust under the acrylic when my wife pointed out...

Something I know but keep forgetting as I start getting all anal obsessive in my usual way, so I'm going to use this as a lesson in knowing the difference between good enough and unwisely burning time and resources in the pursuit of perfection in the wrong places. LMPM is in some ways a sacrificial goat to keep the wear and tear down on my Revolution cab and future restores.
Tonight I plan on staying up late and wiring it all, hopefully having it up and running, if all that goes well then this weekend I'll fabricate the base panel, slap on some feet and call this a wrap.
