I might give up on this project...I cant figure out how the hell to mount these damn steering wheels in anyway thats not retarded or broken into peices..I took one of the madcatz wheels apart but there doesn't seem to be an easy way to do it..If anyone lives near rancho cordova California and thinks they can fab either the pre-existing panel or knows wood work to build a new one somehow fit these wheels and have a spit for the shifter knob let me know..If not I guess I give up its been sitting too long..

You should put a pretty good pc in there and install some of the more recent pc games.... split second, blur, dirt 2, sonic all star racers would be awesome in a racing cab!

That's one of the reasons I wouldn't have been interested in the 1 player cab (no controls).  The 2 player cab had controls that you could interface with (probably) and be up and running fairly easily.  If you want the cab to look good, you might have to get arcade controls since they are designed for this application.  The console/PC wheels are all designed to be set on a desk (and maybe clamped down).  Also, they are all built from plastic which will make it difficult to modify.

If you are ok with the look of the Madcatz wheel on its own, just build a shelf and use it as it is.

just to calrify I DO have the 2 player cab at my house..Even if I figured out how to hack the wheels that were in my final lap can how would I change how sensitive the steering is from game to game? Least with the madcatz ones I can do that..but mounting is a ---smurfette---..
