Older IPAC2 - How to reprogram?

Hello all.  I am building my first MAME cabinet 6 or so years after I first heard about MAME and bought some parts for a control panel.  The IPAC2 that I bought is from somewhere around 2002-2003 and I do not have any of the instructions that came with it.  I want to reprogram some of the Player 2 buttons to be MAME admin keys like ESC and TAB, but I'm not sure how to do it.  I looked on Ultimarc's page and have the legacy version of Winipac but when I try to use it, it does not recognize that the IPAC2 is attached.  My IPAC2 does not look like the new version (It only has 28 inputs instead of 32), but it also does not look like the picture of the IPAC included with the legacy version of Winipac (the layout is the same as the newer version but the EPROM is large and set in a socket).  I may be using the wrong software to reprogram, but I cannot tell exactly how old my IPAC is. Does anyone have any suggestions?  Thanks.

You might want to ask Andy (the owner of Ultimarc, the maker of IPAC).  You should be able to PM him from this page.
