Don't know if this is specifically software related but...
I am building a new CP and i decided to put in the P360's from the original cabinet I bought. When i hooked them up to the I-PAC I had been getting really weird results, as if the 360's were too sensitive or something or i had something shorted. I checked the inputs at the I-PAC and all the inputs where saying 0 V (except for GRD + 5V). So I wrote into Andy and described my situation. He said try switching GRD & 5V. So I did and everything went perfectly. I continuted with some more wiring. Two days later the 360s do nothing! Checked all the inputs and they are all getting proper voltage, just nothing happens when you move them? Andy says I would have fried them. Checked with a few Electrical Engineers i know and they said if the 360s were to pop on the switch it would have happened right then, not two days later. So i switch the GRD & 5 back to their marked inputs (the way they were not working) and then i started getting the same results as before i flipped them! So this means to me the optics are still working? Flip them back and still nothing?
Does anyone have any ideas what could be wrong?
BTW, when you have the 360s hooked up the way they are supposed to be, the test mode in the I-PAC shows them up as shorted? And i have tried isolating the 360 by disconnecting all the GRDs (which disables all the other keys hooked up. Ran a seperate power line (5 & Grd ) to only one 360 (disabled the other)and still nothing?
