Does anyone rememeber this game?
« on: July 08, 2009, 03:37:27 pm »
In Daytona beach Florida on the board walk were several arcades and in one they had a game kinda like Red Baron but when you reached certain scores it would dispense a small plastic bi-plane.

I played it and played till I won a plane then it didnt fall out arg! did it again and got one nothing fancy but just a neat redemption/reward game.

I dunno if you know about KLOV.COM
It's a nice place for all Arcade Stuff.

Dunnno about the game you speak of, but maybe KLOV with some fancy search might get it for you.

Another one just in case you don't happen to know the pages, MAWS is also a great place to look around.
You can get the link here

http://mameworld.info/

So that's 3 great places to start. Just in case.......

Are you talking about current day, or back in the 80's at Daytona Beach?

Yes, the boardwalk of Daytona pretty much sucks and is really scummy. My wife remembers it from being a kid, so she loves it still. I didn't go until 2001. I hated it.

The new entertainment complex is pretty sweet though. Make sure to eat at adobe Gila's...oops, it appears they are no longer in Daytona beach. That sucks!

I took the wife and kid down there and was like this is such a neat place and well to say it was scummy was being too nice LOL

We used to go and get saltwater taffy from this place that had a machine that pulled it in the window and they had like a shooting gallery now days the only shooting is the bangers. :badmood:
