congrats...it looks good.  just be prepared, it is not really done yet.  after about 6 months of playing it, you will start to notice things you wish you did differently...and i have a feeling that you are going to eventually want to build your own control panel....that's just how it works.  the tankstick is a good product, but you will eventually want to change the button layout...it's only a matter of time

Pretty cool. I kind of went the other way round when I built my first cab - I built the software first so I knew what I wanted out of my cab in terms of controls etc. That way, I didn't go overboard with controls or find out a feature I added would not work with the software. Took me 3 months to set my software up and get the PC running like an arcade before it was ready to go in the cab, and I've made many changes since then.

Well done integrating the X-Arcade and the fake coin door looks ok too.

Looking back on it...I wished that I went your direction...( software first)...I was at first trying to understand MAME and at the same time understanding Maximus Arcade...I was 75% done when I got my tankstick...Then found out that the version Maximus Arcade was locking up due to x-arcade...I switched to Hyperspin...and now with the cab done...I have more time to setup the emulators...

hahaha...I do...but I am going to need a LONG vacation  before I tackle it....eventually what i might do is build a totally new one ( different design etc) and do it from the ground up...Ive already got friends wanting me to help them build one...

Agreed, there is always another fix, and the best part IMO, is the new ideas you get after using it.  Creativity is the byproduct of your errors along the way.  Looks great tho, good result, and thus appears it has fathered a spawn in the future.....
