My Control Layout
« on: March 11, 2002, 10:03:50 am »
Hey all!
I've been thinking about changing my control panel around on my machine, adding a spinner or track ball, but as you can see in the picture I don't have very much room.  Does anyone have any ideas without building a new panel?

I foyu don't like to build a new bigger CP then consider a CP that is removable and make different CP for it.
Ie: 1 with 2 8way Josyticks
1 with a Trackball and Spinner
     1 with a Trigger and 4-way joystick
1 with Sterring wheel and Gun
Etc....
Either way, you still got to build them but not BIGGER just the same size as the original.

Yes, go with removable will be the easiest.  Tons of examples around.

Or..

you can build a box that extends it out a bit, then out to the sides a bit...

but I think this wouldn't look that good.
