I've not had chance to have a play with it but I have had it out of the box and the build quality seems to be excellent. I bought it after reading the [user reviews]. Doesn't seem to be a bad word about it.

Check out your local pound shop. I got 3 metal G type clamps from Poundland. Also from Poundworld (see the difference there?) the springy black with orange clamping faces type in a pack of four for ------- you guessed it £1!

these are cheaper on ebay by £2 ive seen, but they're selling BAHCO adjustable jaw spanners for well below other shops prices
i picked one up for £20 instore, model b9072 which is around £30 in other websites plus postage. like i said they have them on ebay £18 delivered but im not always keen on buying off ebay so theyre a bit of a bargain i think, well i was gonna buy one anyway.
theyre really good aj's if anyones interested.

Oh yeah almost forgot.

Logitech S-220 speakers which seem to be a favourite on this forum. £15.50 posted from Amazon.

For a small cheap 2.1 system they sound great and have a seperate volume control/headphone jack.

Just thought I would let anyone know who may be interested that Sega are selling the Sanwa PFX for £495+VAT at the moment (comes to £569.25).

The Sanwa PFX is the dogs danglies 29" (27"US) tri-sync monitor.

They can deliver for £70 (plus VAT I imagine too) or you can collect them from Surrey.

Yeah they are great for the price.

One work of warning, make sure that you tighten the cap screw or threaded retaining ring that holds the bearing in place before you use them.

I have had a couple of the bearings fly off before and if the bearing goes you will end up digging in where you don't want to. I have been tightening them up slightly since then and I have had no further problems to date.

RE: the Sanwa PFX monitors. There are only 6 left in stock now and they won't be getting any more EVER. If you want the best tri-sync monitor then I suggest getting one now whilst you still can.

If any one is after a half decent router table Rutlands have there [Dakota DK2009] on offer for £99.95 reduced from £179.95.

I bought a [Makita P-66226] table earlier this week and I'm sending it back as there was five things wrong with it. To be honest I'm shocked how bad quality something could be from a supposedly quality brand like Makita.

I arranged for the Makita to be picked up and stumbled across the Dakota whilst looking for a replacement. I ordered it and received it last night and I must say that I am very impressed with the build quality of it and I think its a bargain for <£100.

Note: The feather boards pictured are not included and there isn't a NVR switch but you can pick both of them up fairly reasonably or make your own feather boards.

I was in there two weeks ago. It's a real Aladdins cave for sure! He had all sorts of stuff ranging from touch screen gambling cabs from Bookies (some were already converted for Mame) to original cabs. I saw Taito Space Invaders, Pacman and Ms.Pacman, Galaxian, Galaga 88 and a few others. I wasn't looking for an original dedicated cab so I didn't enquire prices.... bet they aren't cheap though.

Yeah Martin the Delivery Man is a really nice guy.

Also if you're building a cab and need the basics like brackets, nut, bolts screws etc. then just forget B&Q. I use Screwfix Direct now for these basics and they are way WAAAAAAY cheaper than B&Q.

B&Q basically take the piss.

If you're lucky you can find an independent hardware store that may sell the basics loose (there's an excellent one near me in Leeds) and they sell all the nuts, bolts, washers etc. individually for pennies. I appreciate you can't always get that service locally though.

Chesterfield has a fantastic little hardware shop. Reminds me of 'arkwrights' from open all hours. They put loads of stuff outside in the day and bring it all back in when the shop closes.

I wanted some dowel bolts for my table slide mechanism. B&Q: £8 for a bag of 5. He charged me 50p each.

sadly the B&Q sheds of the world are eating them up.
