Raiden II
« on: September 21, 2008, 10:24:42 pm »
Does anybody have an actual pic of what a Raiden II cab looks like? I have a cab that I want to restore but I want to make sure that it is the correct cab for the game.

Thanks,
Tracy

check in MAWS, KLOV. Usually they have pics of cabinets there. Sometimes Arcade Flyer also has pics.

Raiden was a conversion, so it could be in any style cab. If there was ever a "new" Raiden it was probably built in a Dynamo cab. The pic of the Raiden II on KLOV is a converted Xevious.

Thanks for the info guys...mine must be a dynamo. It does not look like the one on KLOV. It has the notched corners at the edges of the CP.

Very common cab for conversions. Typically referred to as a Cut Corner Dynamo.

Thanks TOK...

So I'm assuming that there was not really any side art? The cab I have is painted black over some funky yellow color. I wanted to restore it as a Raiden cab but I might just make it a Jamma.
