No MAME Clones? Checkbox not working.

For some reason, the masters only checkbox doesn't seem to be working.  I check it, exit the screen, and the setting doesn't take.  Any ideas?

Also, my videos are coming out looking like when you try to use a PAL source on an NTSC tv...they play fine in the MALA video previewer app thing, but are all screwed up when played in Mala 1.04 or 1.05b

Known bug.  Just close out of Mala, then edit Mala.ini.  Change master=0 to master=1.  After restarting Mala, refresh the main game list.  The checkbox will still not be checked, but it should trim the list to masters only.

this may be due to the rescaling done if the display box of your layout isn't an exact multiple of the original .avi resolution.
I ended up fixing that by finding a video that did work just fine, and then did a batch resizing job in virtualDub on all of the videos that didn't work correctly.  I mean it probably should be fixed in mala, but if you're under the gun and want it to work, virtualDub will fix them.

Nope    Unless you can suggest a better video engine under Delphi..

OK, yeah, in searching for the problem I read how you were restricted due to Delphi on the video engine.  Just wondering if it was actually the engine or something else.  Thanks for the info.
