do you need any beta testers?  I have multiple cabs and can promise to play the hell out of it :)

Plus, as a programmer, I good at finding bugs, making them reproducable, and explaining them well.

Let me know if I can help you out  ;)

NON tube displays?
I assume you mean LCD and Plasma.
how about projection?
I also have a very old TV
no tube, 3 lights and a mirror
OLD PC monitors, Arcade monitors and Svideo Tube TVs are out.
correct?

Guess you havn't read so far?

This system would even work with your wallpaper, or a mirror - it's "just" a field of ultrasounds.

I have read all posts
your post still has me confused.
did I miss something :dunno
I will reread
OK
I found it in the 1ST post.
I missed it.

"No, the system is completely independent of the video system so there is no interaction with the display.   You'll be able to use Tube, Plasma, LCD, projectors and any other type of display technology."

so....  the Title makes no since to me!  :dunno

current Guns only work with tube type displays, the SGS will work with non Tube Displays.  The title was to discuss a system designed to work with displays such as Plasmas and LCDs since most arcade manufacturers are moving away from Tubes, and tubes will become scarce.

Hello, i just stumbled upon this Sonic Gun System. I was researching different options to have a arcade style gun hooked up to a PC that is hooked up to my flat screen. I am considering getting the Topgun II, but if this is going to be released soon, ill wait for this hardware.

Any update as to a ETA on when i can purchase this?

erm, no, and don't expect it anytime soon. If you do a bit of googling about David Foley and his exploits, you'll see why.

Anyone heard anything on the case? All I can find is (old) news about the indictment.

The case has nothing to do with the Sonic Gun System.  We had licensed the design to a third party who ended up deciding to not fund the completion of the product.  We have been focusing our development resources on completing and shipping the MultiPin product.  Once MultiPin is completed intend to finish the SGS system on our own.

This is the prototype boards that were developed so far
