WTB: PC Harddrives

Doesn't need to be anything big or fancy. Just need 2 to replace the ones that failed on me. I'd also like a spare or 2 to have on hand since I have horrible luck with hard drives. Prefer dirt cheap. ;D

I guess I should be a bit more specific then. ;) ;D

The two computers in question are a AMD Duron 1.2ghz that previously had a 20gb, and a Pentium III that had a 40 gb. I would prefer 5gb or better, 5200 rpm.

10MB...what a funny man. ;D

  • What does that even mean?

Uh, I am guessing ata-100 or ata133 not SATA,  SCSI, MFM, RLL, ata-33, EDSI, etc, etc

Correct?

And I am also guessing you want 3.5 inch drives not 2.5 or 1.8 (gasp?)

Oh and I guessing you want 7200 RPM as notebook hard drives are typically around 4800RPM.

I hate you all... ;)

DESKTOP PC's. IDE connection. I don't think either mobo is equipped with SATA.

Good lord, I've walked into the den of nerddrom, and I don't have any protection. ;D ;D

So have you got anything to offer him or are you just showing off? ;)
