I like this too. I'm not a big fan of the idea of sticking the carvings on the wall (always makes me feel like a bezel with assorted arcade decals), but with the canvas behind it it ties it all together. Good idea.

Yea that pacman is cool. It's like sideart pac jumps "in game" on us.

Princess made some progress on Burgetime and Digdug canvas' today. I'll post the pics here when she gets those done over the next few days.

Jeff: There is a Donkey Kong themed canvas planned for the very near future, and any future pacman canvas' will be bigger to accommodate more characters as you can see the current one they are a little cramped. You will need some dedicated wall space for these canvas murals, they are truly life sized.

Also developing a Zencart shopping solution and easy ordering for all of Melissa's goods.

I wouldn't say "Life sized" Dig dug is at least 5 foot something and pac man is probably more like the size of a large beach ball..

Just a note about the Digdug canvas that everyone is lovin'. That thing isn't even really done, it is a "proto", and she has plenty of ideas to make it better apparently, including better canvas material.

I would say this was the best idea I've had in a long time. It did seem like something was missing when I just had the carvings hanging on the walls. I have a ton of ideas of what I could do with canvas backgrounds now. We will post more pictures when I get more done!

Shouldn't be that hard. All you really have to carve is straight lines for the most part. Obviously, she couldn't do indvidual sprite carvings. Instead, it would have to be done on something like 1/4" plywood. Just route out the lines and paint them in.
