FS/FT used Switches, Buttons & other junk.
« on: September 06, 2007, 09:23:51 am »
These are all USED parts and should be regarded as such unless specified otherwise.

Shipping charges will depend on weight of total order and packaging.

I've done my best to point out any known damage or major blemishes.

I will advise on any found major damage/staining/fading BEFORE shipping or accepting payment. I can e-mail pictures of the exact parts upon request.

I am still in the process of sorting, counting, photographing, etc... so bear with me on this. I will try to update this post and add in color/quantity/prices as soon as I can.

Leaf Switches & Buttons

Photo shows all colors/sizes of wico buttons available.
Quantities are limited. Buttons include nuts.
Mostly White, Red & Cheese colors available at this time.

I'll fill in more color quantities very soon
I've run some of the nastiest ones through the dishwasher and they came out pretty good.
$1 each for the cleaner ones, 50% off for the funky scratched up looking ones.
Holders & switchs available below...

Spacers w/ contacts:  74 Thick & Med - 12 Thin   $1 each
Spacers only: 25 various thicknesses  2/$1
Contacts only: 23 a few odd styles, most are common style, few oddballs
Black collar spacers: 6 Thick (not shown) - 40+ thin (as pictured)
the 6 Thick collars are   * PENDING *
I will refine these numbers once I get a chance.

The clear rings on the right side have been divided into two sets.
I have many (20+ each piece) for the various ones in the top picture.
What is pictured for the lower set is all that I have available.

Buttons and Switches

I have both New & Used 1 & 2 Player Start buttons, they come with microswitches & nuts.
Used:  6 available $1.50 each (These are very clean, like new, almost)
New:  4 available $3 each  (these are factory sealed for my protection)

Plugs: 6 available  (These are black and made of a hard plasticized rubber material)
White round buttons: 3 (These have a transparent center with some kind of insert)
Red contained switches: 2 (note the damage shown in photo, other switch is ok)

Reject buttons: only ratty looking ones left. Have many new inserts.
Knobs:    * SOLD *
Audio Transformers: 3 as pictured. Multitap. Not yet tested, look clean.

Luminated buttons

I have only just begun to sort through all of these.
This picture shows all the color/shape variations I have. Mostly Red and White ones.
Many of the white ones have a charming nicotine caramelized tinting as displayed in middle of picture.  (The one ironicly labeled 'Discard')
There is a very limited amount of bulb holders & inserts compared to the number of buttons. Many have some scuffing on the surface.

And my latest project:
Luminated coin/credit buttons:

Bottom set was made from used buttons, top set is new stuff from Happs.
More info (and prices) to follow.

Pedal Balls

Taito Gas pedal with switch, very used $? make offer

3" Trackball mounting plates - SOLD

Happs buttons

Solid color long barrel type New & Used

White: 5
Blue: 5
Yellow: 6 used 10 new

Nuts Breakers etc...

Happs Joystick 'bat style' handles New Green 3 available USED Black 2   * PENDING *
Square D 20 Amp breakers (don't ask me why these were in there)
Switch brackets, roller & lever switches

The nuts are automaticly included with buttons, but so many people are asking . . .
Here are my nuts

Other stuff I'll post soon:

DVI VGA cables, splitters
IDE Hard drives, 4, 6, 10, 20, & 40 gig sizes - make offer

Intel PIII 800 & 900 MHz, 128 or 256 RAM mainboards.
Intel PIV 1.8 & 2.0 MHz, I forget how much ram
They got all the typical onboard stuff plus USB, Some have onboard video too.
One is a D815EEA & I'd have to look up the rest.

I also have the 235W power supplies and ide drives loaded into cases for them. Figured the boards are all that is really worth shipping. But if you need the stuff, I have it too.

IDE CD-RW drives

Items I am looking for:

Marquee from a 1991 'SCI' cab
Front glass & game board for same.

Lock cylinders with keys

15" Subwoofers

Feel free to make me some reasonable offers.

Thanks for looking and check back, as I'll never be done counting up and sorting out this crap stuff.

Those knobs (with the one with an endcap), look like the old rotary stick knobs off my old Heavy Barrel I used to have...

I could use 1 GREEN and 1 ORANGE (not shorties) buttons. I just need to amtch the colors on my CP. Maybe just to be safe that the GREEN (looks like yours is lighter than mine), I'll just take 2 GREEN and 2 ORANGE.

Thanks Heffe2001, now if I could find someone who needs a few....

Shardian - I have a need for 6 lock sets right now. Would take twice that many if they were all keyed alike. If I could get a set of at least 3 keyed the same it would be a big help. Used parts are fine as long as they work.

Thenasty - There is some minor variations in some of the colors. I could send you the a Matched set of the darker ones from each for $4 plus shipping.  Did you want holders & contacts too? If so how many and what thickness? Let me know and I'll make you a nice mini package deal.

I've added some more info to the top post, will add some more item/pictures soon.
Thanks!

Are those trackballs complete assemblies or just well, a pair of balls?

I might be interested in one.

Also... is that a pink shortie I see there?

I am interested in 2-3 sets of pushbuttons for a Donkey Kong CP.  Do you have the buttons as well as the nuts, switches, and mounts?

Posted some more pictures.

JeepMonkey - Yes, I'll make up sets with whatever you want.
Tell me what colors & spacers you want.
I could send you a pic to confirm what I'm sending.

SavannahLion  - TB is complete, see the picture above. No pinkies, must be the picture.

Hey all,   Does it look pink to you guys?
They look ok on my screen, a little light maybe.

What's the asking price for the trackball?

The shortie between the weird green and the white looks like a pink on my monitor. What color is it supposed to be, peach perhaps?

Thenasty - Throw me another buck for a padded mailer & stamp and we got a deal.

AwesomeAlbert - Uh, I guess so. DK used dark blue right? Got a couple of em. Did you want holders/contacts too, or just buttons?

SavannahLion - Not even sure what it's worth, the 'action' feels kind of heavy to me. Guessing it's that dense little bowling ball they got in there.
Is $35 shipped too much?  :dunno

That pinkish looking shortie in the pic above should be gray.
It looks OK to me, a little washed out maybe, but not pink.

Anyone else care to compare?

This page seems to be taking forever to load and I keep getting logged out when updating it. Very flustrating when I lose all my changes!

Is it advisable to break this stuff up or keep them all together?

lcddream   - $5 shipped sounds good?  Does it matter what else is on the inserts? $.50 or $.25,

JeepMonkey - Did you want short or long buttons? Same thing with the holders?
$7 shipped for the whole pile of stuff.

I have several set of the shorter ones, see QTY amounts above.

The buttons I am replacing have a thread length of just under an inch and the mounts are 1 3/4" tall.

Does that mean they are shorties?

If so, I will take them.

Oh sorry, it was probably rude of me not to say anything. After thinking about it. As much as I would like to have the trackball to create a new CP with, I'm going to have to let this trackball go to a better home.

If it's still around next month and I'm not shelling out mondo $$$ for formula, I'll take it into consideration again.

Don't let me hold you back if someone else wants to buy it.

Email sent about buttons.  How much do you want for the trackball?  And, a n00b question - how rare/expensive are the trackball mounting plates?  I have access to a sheetmetal shop (where I'm going to make my CP) and the plate doesn't look difficult - a square plate with an opening of the right size, with standoffs for hardware.

Not that rare, or expensive really.
But if you can make some up for free/cheep go for it!
You could even make some custom shapes then.
I'd be interested in some if you get a system down for it, LMK
