True, but NE at home seems unbeatable right now.  And Buffalo's offense is anemic so far.

Buffalo always plays the Pats tough.  So does Miami.  Most other teams roll right over but those two teams are never easy for the Pats.

Why didn't Favre retire last season!   :banghead:  :timebomb:  :soapbox:

The Chargers should have sliced those cheese heads up.

Good luck to the rest of you.

Heh, the Packers are my team and all, but over the last 5 years or so I've gotten to the point where I don't think they can beat anyone with talent. I was shocked the other day when I saw that the spread was in favor of Green Bay. I guess those guys know what they are talking about. Oh and, Go Pack Go! ;D

Didn't quite work out so tough... but man, living right in the shadow of Gilette, this team is as bemusing as it is dominant.  Three weeks, three ---smurfy--- unnecessary filthy events.

Week 1 - Harrison suspended
Week 2 - illegal camera on sideline
Week 3 - Wilfork intentionally dives at Losman's knee and injures it

I mean, WTF... I'm sick of this crap.  That hit on Losman, and this is coming from a home fan, was way out of line.  Clearly intentional.  Dude went 3 yards out of his way and reached his arm forward to get to Losman's knee.

I think the over under for tonight is about 125.   Brady is on pace for 53 TD passes and has a rating of over 140 after three games.

Tom Brady is playing Tecmo Bowl with NFL defenses.

I'm a little confused on the rules.

Can I use one of the teams I've picked in week 3 for week 5?

I feel for the guys who lost with San Diego.  I'm in (was in) another contest and you can only pick a team once.  In that contest I was saving Indianapolis for a later game.

That rule only applies to consecutive weeks.  You're fine using a team in week 5 that you used in week 3.

You cannot pick a game that contains EITHER team from the previous weeks pick.

Yeah, that's the twist I threw in.  I didn't want it to be TOO hard but I didn't want someone to be able to, say, pick the Dolphins' opponent every week.

Thanks,

Week 5

New England over Cleveland

At this point, I'd be a little scared to pick Cleveland either way. They could very easily bring that x-factor and be the team to knock off the Pats.

Rodney Harrison returns next week.  The Pats' defense is much stronger with him covering the middle and guiding the other DBs.

Cheating or not, those pats are impressive. The just have too many weapons one the field at any given moment. And its good to see Moss finally playing to his potential. It's sad, because he had the tools to be the best ever and own all of the records - instead he wasted a significant portion of his career.

The good part is that the whole Brady-Manning debate was always separated by two things - Brady's rings and Manning's weapons.  The big question was always "if Brady had Harrison/Wayne/Stokley/James what would he do?"  Well, Brady has a set of weapons that is almost as good now and he's killing the whole NFL.  The one thing he doesn't have is a reliable workhorse back.

It's a good question.  If all remaining people get knocked out at once, should we just keep them all in?  Is there any other fair way to do it?

Well it won't happen because I prefer to pick a game noone else does. ;D

It is boring if everyone picks the "game of the week" every time.

Could still easily happen if you lose AND the other people lose.

BTW, ahofle, be a man.  I picked the Bucs in the other pool thread and they're playing Indianapolis.
