any pushbutton type switches?
« on: April 28, 2003, 07:00:41 pm »
Are there any pushbuttons available that are not momentary contact?  I want a button either illuminated or not, that look like the regular pushbuttons, but that are switches (not momentary contact).  So when you push it, it stays depressed.  And push it again to release it.  I want this for a 4-way to 8-way switch for my joysticks.

just lke the TURBO switch in a PC ?
It is like a toggle switch like a light switch.
You can actually use a light switch for what you wanted to do swicthing 8/4 way joysticks and have it mounted undeneath the CP.

That's what I need, but I want it to be a presentable button on the control panel.  One that looks just like or similar to the regular buttons.
