I think Wade was making the assumption that you were going to follow through on your contract to purchase the item.
When you win any auction, you take a risk that the seller is not being honest with you. He just meant that some of the people on this board might trust you, but not trust the seller. You obviously trusted the seller, and the seller trusted you. So one of two things are true: either you misunderstood the terms of winning the auction, or we really shouldn't trust you. I don't take you for a fool, so I guess we just shouldn't trust you.
