Boxy was the look I was going for...I'm looking to make a custom cab for this panel, so if anyone has purchased a refrigerator lately, please let me know...

You may need some vertical I-Beam like pieces underneath so the
thing doesnt buckle .   ;) ;D

I agree with Bob A.
Maybe if you used gray duct tape instead of masking tape the buttons may appear not so high.
But I do like that Batman Cup.

make sure there's adequate room to rest your wrists. not necessary for joysticks, but necessary for buttons. it really doesn't look too high to me.

why not red buttons on one side and yellow on the other? I duno if they are just there to fill holes or what.. also, yeah they do seem a little high on the panel.

The color of the buttons is a bit confusing.  How about same colors vertically (if you don't have any other colors):  2 yellow vertical, 2 red vertical, etc.
