You have to be reaching to worry about this one.
For me personally, it doesn't
worry me (I already perceive the guy as a complete idiot. Now Cheney, he worries me!)...the premise of the photo is just funny.
Anyhow, the most intriguing aspect of this image is simply it's very existence in the mainstream media. "W" has been handled with kids gloves since he was governor. The meer fact that this photo was published
at all, especially given how it reflects on his visit to the U.N., gives me hope that the media has tired of glorifying this man, and may finally be acknowledging the fact that he is wildly unpopular (Today - 40% disapprove), as is his agenda.
Bush, by and large, is a media creation. Custom-tailored by the GOP spin-meisters to fit into the mold of the Reagan "Cowboy-Conservative." I've got a running theory that Bush provides *so much* fodder for ridicule, presenting himself as such an easy target, that the press, at large, feels bad about attacking him personally. Like they would a child. That wasn't so with Gore, or Kerry...whom I'm sure got the brunt of America's deep-seeded napoleonic complex. (ie: "What? You think y'alls better than me?)
By and large, Clinton took his lumps (and the Conservative media foamed at the mouth about it)...maybe the boy-king is finally getting his comeuppance.
Boy, that's a lot to draw from a photo, in'nit?
