How many others are supposed to be working
« on: August 08, 2005, 07:18:18 pm »
I was just wondering how many people used "company time" and "company resources" to fuel their arcade addictions. How many people can get away with doing artwork. I personally scan the boards everyday before starting real "work".
Also company printers come in real handy....

Any comments....

The way I figure it is that I am going to read the threads at some point during the day.  It seems better to me to read a little at a time throughout the day rather than take a couple of hours at any one point.

Gotta love how human beings can rationalize anything....

Heh, same here.. I usually don't put off work for the forums, but if I'm particularly frustrated with something that just isn't working right, I take a step back and read through the boards to give myself a few minutes away from the problem.

I used to go downstairs and smoke when the situation occurred, so technically this is better for my health, and not wasting any more time than I normally would anyway. :)

well if you're looking at a thread it'll list the thread title... so just stay away from threads with incriminating titles... ;D

Can someone redo the Message Boards to look like a huge and very important EXCEL spreadsheet with a lot of $ symbols.

speaking of this, do any of you remember when games came with Boss keys...was ALT-B or something, where it would throw up a bogus spreadsheet, or document...whatever happened to those  :D

That's what prompted my post.  I remember MAC games in the early 90's had the Alt-B but I never recall seeing a similar feature on any PC games.
