OK, got info from the embroiderer on the fitted hats.

They are closed (solid) back, meaning no strap or opening, and have a structured "dome" so they stay rounded on or off your head. They come in two sizes S/M and L/XL. They are flex fit so they stretch a bit to accomodate variations in overall melon size.

They'll be available in sandwich style (with a white stripe along the edge of the bill) and in solid style (no stripe). I'll have color info posted later tonight or tomorrow.

Cost for either sandwich or solid is $21.00 shipped. This includes a $1.50 surcharge by me, since this is now becoming more complicated and time consuming to handle. So on these hats there is a small bit of profit going on!

There is no price change for the original unstructured styles. Those who have already placed an order but want to change to a structured hat will be able to do so. I'll post instructions for that with the color samples later.

The process has been slowed considerably by the delay in getting the structured hat info. I'll post an update with ETA's etc once I get the structured hat orders in line.

I have a L/XL Flexfit hat and normally wear a 7 1/8 fitted hat size. The L/XL fits with almost no stretch on my head if I have my hair cut short (i.e. when it's really 7 1/8 lol).

I'd say that a 7 might work in a L/XL as well, but it might be a bit loose and have no stretch at all. A 7 or 7 1/8 could probably go either way depending on if they like their hats tight or loose. Above or below that should go with the different sizes.

Trying them on would be best though if you can swing by a mall or something.

I like the hats. However...

This thread is a bit confusing. Are the structured hats flex fit or is this a new development?

Delivery update:

I am waiting on examples of final stitch patterns from the embroiderer. After that production can begin. I apologize for the delays. Last go round suffered a similar lengthy production time so I guess it's no surprize.
