Brain Fart, What arcade/atari game is this?

Sorry, having a discussion here at work and I'm having a brain fart about a game.

Description: Space game where your object was to stop aliens from abducting people.  It was a left/right scroller and you could change the height of your ship.

Sorry for the poor description.  Any clues?
