perhaps you could add an option in random settings that says sync randoms volume with main volume slider. Less confusing for guests? keep up the good work

Good thinking... What i need to do is make the second volume level optional don't i... It will be in the next version i will add that tonight. I am still waiting feedback on the last version and also there should be some user created skins coming out soon i am also awaiting those with interest.

It might have if it wasn't mac osX only...

I will post a test application up for you this week hopefully and you can tell me if it works. If so then great, AAC will be added.

Any music added to iTunes will be available to viewTunes when it is started. viewTunes is not meant as a replacement for iTunes. Exactly and that information is what i was going to set up the freebox config to pull into it's database. However if i cannot play the songs then i might have a problem...

Hope you can make it work. I would love to use your program when I build my jukebox this summer. Of course it will have to play the music I bought from the ITMS.

I am working on getting it back up now... Touchtunes, basically BOSE were giving hastle. I think i know who tipped em off too... If you want to let the touchtunes staff know how you feel they have a you tube video.

I've been playing with his Jukebox for roughly 3weeks and I finally broke down and picked up a touch screen monitor. Heres a little short video of it working. Its not the greatest camera work, but I just picked up the monitor yesterday and I was so excited to try it out.

And yes I do own all the CDS in my collection.

Don't know if you noticed but there is an option in there to hide the mouse pointer. Usfull for fullscreen with a touchscreen interface, just looks a little tidier. That looks cool dude...

Freebox is a bit little the littlest hobo right now... Just as it was getting popular BLAM! I think i have some space that i can use now. Shame we don't have the DB from the old site though. I am out on the beers tonight so i will try and get something up tomorrow...

OK, I found an cached forum post that said to install to install mscomm32.ocx, but now when I enable beta brite and select a song I get a run-time error 8005 port already open.

dont spose theres a time frame your forum will be back up?? i have a few questions with the winamp and second monitor, and a couple karaoke issues but dont want to fill your email up..

What happens with the old forum and the webserver? Crashed or? What about all skins created?

Did you not backup the DB? It the extract same problem I have with Arcade Music Box (since I lost most source for it for same reason). Now I moved to a another app, wich is far to finish.

Remember to backup anything!

Can I help in some way with the website? Do NinjaEpisode move it to a another webserver with new host (here I use micfo.com)?

Ninja ran that site for me, he took it down following some legal issues with a certain skin. However he never took a copy of the database first

but it's not his fault he was doing it all as a favour to me and had it running for well over a year at his personal expense. Anyway i am in the process of setting up a new site which has been donated to me..... All i need is to work out the SQL access password and i am away.

Sorry I say that, but you did have learn a lesson to NOT borrowing a skin from a another jukebox applications, without get the permission first. This is of course illigal, and the company would sue you before or later.

But i have to ask: Would did he not close down forum in meanstream mode, and just delete all threads, that have these skins? This is what, I would do.

I really hope you got the site up running again, and of course remove all competers skins as well (unless these, you have permission for).

Well i never even made that touchtunes skin a forum member did, it was way to good for me. We did what was asked and took it down and they chased again.... I'm not going into the full story here but you only know half of it and the problem lay with sites syndicating news of betanews and linking back to us and not updating thier descriptions. To be honest i am not even sure they saw the skin but they didn't like the wording where i said it was like touchtunes, they said it wasn't like touchtunes and was misleading... Like i said there is more to it.

Gonzo: What settings are you using for displaying the images? All one file name or use first cover found?
